Partnerships drive education, training, and innovation in our changing world.
We're proud to partner with Dr. Anne Osano and Bowie State University to develop a shared research program investigating endophytic symbionts in plants of traditional use in East Africa, and their associated metabolomes.
In a multi-state, multi-institution, multi-continent, and interdisciplinary project led by Dr. Osano and her colleagues, including Dr. Jiangnan Peng at Morgan State University and Dr. Sheila Okoth, University of Nairobi, we have joined forces to build collaborative, capacity-enhancing, and training opportunities for students at Bowie State. Together we aim to engage students in authentic research experiences that help discover how microbial symbionts may influence the metabolomic profiles of medicinal plants.
